To the Hawthorn base he added two traditional world medicines: The Ayurvedic herb Arjuna bark, a traditional circulatory tonic herb used for centuries in the Himalayas and Salvia miltiorrhiza (Danshen or Red Sage Root) a renowned herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine that contains several unique phytochemicals with antioxidant properties.

• L-Taurine, an amino acid found in high levels in meat and fish, has a myriad of health benefits. It is by far the most abundant free amino acid in cardiac tissue, indicating its high degree of requirement, and it promotes heart health and assists in maintaining cell membrane stability.

• Co Enzyme Q10, a vitamin-like compound produced by the human body, is necessary for the basic functioning of every cell in our body. CoQ10 levels are reported to decrease with age.
