Above: September 11-12, 2008 - Paul swims through the night to swim The English Channel for the second time in 13 hours and 3 minutes, becoming only the 84th person in history to swim it twice. Life is like a Channel Swim...
...It needs to be well planned, starting with a well defined outcome or goal, and we need to develop the skills and the disciplines required to achieve those goals. Using over 27 years of personal development training from both his mentor, the late great Jim Rohn, and his training as a Certified NLP Practitioner, Paul will show you how you can achieve ANY goal you set yourself if you just put your mind to it.
"My mentor, Jim Rohn, told me - 'If YOU will change, everything will change for YOU'. That simple phrase changed my life forever. If you want to know how YOU can achieve YOUR goals, I recommend this motivational talk for YOU and your company, organisation or club."
During this seminar, Paul will reveal THE secret which got him across The English Channel. It was revealed to him by a multi-channel swimmer just a few weeks before he started his first swim in 2007 and applies to all areas of life. Intrigued? Then book Paul today!

“Paul’s talk to our club was fascinating. He is a gifted speaker, easy to listen to and has a keen sense of humour. It was one of the most interesting talks we have ever had”.
David Hughes, Chairman, Tuesday Probus Club, Bury St Edmunds.
“Paul’s presentation to our club was received with great enthusiasm and is an example of what can be achieved if you put your mind to it”.
Ernie Broom, Chairman, Howard Estate Over 60’s Club, Bury St Edmunds.
“Paul’s talk was thoroughly enjoyed by all members of our club. It made us realise what an extremely physical and mental achievement it was to swim the channel, and he did it to raise money for people less fortunate than himself”.
Arthur Smith (1926-2011), Chairman, Mildenhall Road Estate Over 60’s Club, Bury St Edmunds.
"Thanks Paul for the wonderful encouragement. Goal setting is so under rated these days by the younger generation....in fact waking up in the morning probably exceeds most of their [USAF personell] short term goals. Thanks again for taking time out of your busy schedule to come visit with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon."
Master Sergeant J Duncan, 100th Maintenance Sqn., USAF, RAF Mildenhall, England.
"Paul is a one man power house. His Channel Swim talk that he gives is fantastic, one could say why does he do it? Like a mountain climber because it is there to be done. He has raised a huge amount for charity by his swims, at a huge cost to himself! As a Bury St Edmunds Round Tabler he achieved everything he set out to do, as a committed public servant there are not many more challenges for him to achieve. In any case there are only 24 hours in each day! He gave his Cross channel talk to our Probus Club, us old retired men were spell bound but thought he must be slightly mad!"
Nicholas Challacombe, Probus 1 Club, Bury St Edmunds.
The Art of Goal Setting
My mentor Jim John said to me "Don't trust your memory. Write down your short term and long term goals and tick them off as and when you achieve them". Over the years, I didn't even know that some of the things I wanted to achieve were in fact - goals. When I discovered this, I did what Jim Rohn told me. Here is just a few of the goals I can help show you how to achieve. I did it, so can YOU!
