A class of proteins that bind to the different antigens in each blood type, lectins can harm immune and digestive function. An exclusive blend of glucosamine, pectin and larch arabinogalactan, Deflect® B is crafted for optimal absorption by Blood Type B individuals. Dr. Peter D'Adamo's uniquely designed formula provides specific blocking sugars that attach to receptors on lectins, preventing them from weakening immune and digestive health.

The Deflect B® lectin-fighting team includes:
N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine (NAG)
Acts like a magnet for lectins in foods. When lectins bind to the NAG on your cells, they impair their functioning and promote inflammation. The NAG in Deflect® B serves as a distractor, picking up stray lectins without interrupting your metabolism.
Larch Arabinogalactan
Binds dietary lectins and reduces bacterial adherence of detrimental species such as E. coli. Larch arabinogalactan is also an excellent source of dietary fibre and has been shown to increase the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), principally butyrate.
Pectin
Works by inhibiting carbohydrate-binding lectins. Inhibiting this binding prevents the activation of immune cells in the gut. Pectin is a common component of several fruits and a soluble fibre used to improve digestive health and stave off gastrointestinal discomfort.
While it can't magically turn avoid foods into beneficial foods in Blood Type B individuals, Deflect® B may assist in healthy weight loss and the repair of pre-existing lectin damage. With the help of our formula, you can support a balanced digestive system.

Larch Arabinogalactan, Pectin (from Citrus uranium fruit), L-Cysteine, N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine, Flaxseed Meal (from Linum usitatissimum Seed), Gum Tragacanth, Vegetable Cellulose, Organic Rice Extract, Organic Rice Concentrate.

Dosage and Information
- Directions: Two (2) capsules two (2) times daily with largest meals as a food supplement or as directed by a healthcare professional.
- The Deflect® B formula has been specifically designed for and so should only be used by Blood Type B individuals.
- This product contains no sugar, salt, gluten, wheat, yeast, corn, soy, eggs or dairy, no preservatives, colour or flavours, and no artificial ingredients.
