D'Adamo Personalized Nutrition® - Proberry 3™ Liquid - Elderberry complex with synergistic fruit extracts
Dr. Peter D'Adamo, author of Eat Right 4 Your Type, has harnessed the strong concentration of antioxidant-rich compounds in Proberry 3™ Liquid. This great tasting syrup contains concentrations of antioxidant-rich berries such as: blueberries, elderberries, cherries and red raspberries. Dark-hued Berries
Dark-hued berries are packed with proanthocyanidins (powerful antioxidants and flavonoids) to help promote a healthy immune system, collagen production and promote capillary stability. Although many foods contain antioxidants, dark berries contain some of the highest concentration levels and may provide the body with important immune supporting properties.

"Proanthocyanidins are responsible for the red to blue/purple colors of most berries, cherries, grapes and some flowers. "Elder has a rich history in folklore. The Russians believed that elder trees ward off evil spirits, and it was considered good luck to plant a tree near your home. Sicilians thought that elder wood branches could kill snakes and drive away thieves. The ancient Egyptians found that applying its flowers to the skin improved the complexion and healed burns. Native American tribes made tea from elderberry for its effectiveness in preventing colds and relieving toothaches. In the 17th century, the British often drank homemade elderberry wine believing it to prolong life and cure the common cold."
Today, elderberry has been shown to be an excellent ally in the prevention and treatment of symptoms of the flu and upper respiratory congestion. The syrup has a delightful, fruity flavour and makes a great, child-friendly, dessert topping, or the basis of a refresher summertime spritzer.

Dosage and Information
- 236ml - light-resistant bottle. Suggested Use: 1 teaspoon (7g), 1-3 times per day or as directed by your healthcare professional.
- Storage Recommendations: Refrigerate at 35-38 degrees F (1.7-3.3 degrees C). Keep lid tightly closed.
