What's inside TypeZyme™ A?

Blood Type A individuals often lack adequate stomach acid levels critical for initiating the breakdown of animal protein, so TypeZyme™ A provides a gentle assist for protein and fat digestion.

• Betaine HCL - This substance helps re-acidify the stomach to improve the digestion of food and alter the gastric environment for beneficial microbe growth. Betaine HCL is also involved in liver function and cellular reproduction, while also helping the body metabolise an amino acid called homocysteine.
• Bromelain - Naturally found in the stem and fruit of the pineapple (Ananas comosus), this plant enzyme helps condition the gut and acts like a gentle detergent throughout the digestive system. 
• Lipase - Typically secreted by the pancreas to break down lipids, this enzyme assists in fat breakdown. Lipase also reduces bloating and discomfort following high-fat meals.
• Protease - These two protein-busting enzymes support the second stage of protein digestion. A standard protease and a special acid-stable form of protease help break down proteins into amino acids in the acidic environment of the stomach.
