Summer 2015 saw Body and Mind Studio International® become UK Distributors for a fabulous range of Greek premium natural products from Pharmaid based on the idyllic Greek island of Rhodes. Following a visit to the stunning, purpose built headquarters in Rhodes, Body and Mind Studio International® will initially be stocking a selection of three of their Olive Oil, Aloe Vera and Argan Oil products.
Athena's Treasures® - Skin and Hair Care with Organic Olive Oil
The main components of the range are the Organic Olive Oil and the Organic Extract of Olive Leaves. The Athena's Treasures® range of products was created in 2008. The name was inspired by Fotini Chrisovergi in honour of the Greek Goddess Athena. This rich range of products consists of body creams, hair care products, products for aromatherapy, facial creams, hand and legs cream, shower gels and men's products.

Aloe Treasures® - Skin and Hair Care with Organic Aloe Vera
The Aloe Treasures range of products from Pharmaid are based on the versatile activity of Aloe Vera because of its rich vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and saccharides content. Active Aloe is used in all products in the range, which in addition to organic cultivation isolated with special treatment, guarantees the biological action and not only its chemical structure. In this way, a 30% increased in cell renewal is achieved compared to the normal aloe.
Furthermore ACTIVE ALOE:
- enhances skin hydration by retaining moisture in the inner layers
- improves soothing and healing properties of the skin
- increases the anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory potential of the skin
- helps the immune functions of the skin, and therefore helps to reduce the risk associated with intense exposure to solar UVB radiation
- has anti-wrinkle properties because accelerates the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin tissues, delaying thus the appearance of signs of premature aging.

Argan Treasures - Skin and Hair Care with Organic Argan Oil
The newest range of products from Pharmaid is the Argan Treasures range of skin and haircare products. The entire range is a product of research and development by Greek cosmetologists which incorporate the beneficial properties of the organic oil Argan and the traditional Greek Organic Olive Oil.
This range consists of products for care of the face, body, hair, hands and feet and specific products for the eyes and lips. It also includes anti-wrinkle products with a lifting and botox-like effect, for safe use without cosmetic surgery. Traditional oils of Mediterranean nature are combined harmonically with the pioneering achievements of modern cosmetology like argan stem cells, the bio-technical anti-wrinkle ameliox and the drastic dipeptide calmosensine.
Argan Oil
Arian oil is widely known for its powerful restorative and anti-acing action and is the secret of care for the face, body and hair. It is produced from the core of the seeds of the argan tree which grows in Morocco. Argan oil is produced using mainly traditional methods and is a time-consuming process. Every stone has to be opened so as to obtain the seeds. It is said that for every litre of this oil, 20 hours of manual labour are required!
The women of this area have been using it for hundreds of years, for the daily care of their face and body, and the caring of dry skin. However, its anti-aging properties are the reason why it has become so popular lately in the west. The secret is its high concentration of fatty acids (80%).
