Meet Deflect® AB, your first line of defence against lectins in "Avoid foods" for Blood Type AB individuals. A class of proteins that bind to the different antigens in each blood type, lectins can harm immune and digestive function. This causes a variety of health problems including intestinal and bowel irritation, bloating, weight gain and lethargy. Shielding your biology from these dangerous molecules is important.
An exclusive blend of glucosamine, bladderwrack and sodium alginate, Deflect® AB has been crafted for optimal absorption by Blood Type O individuals. Dr. D'Adamo's uniquely designed formula provides specific blocking sugars that attach to receptors on lectins, preventing them from weakening immune and digestive health.

Larch Arabinogalactan
Binds dietary lectins and reduces bacterial adherence of detrimental species such as E. coli. Larch arabinogalactan is also an excellent source of dietary fibre and has been shown to increase the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), principally butyrate.
D-Mannose
An epimer of glucose, D-Mannose has a unique structure to bind and prevent adhesion of certain bacteria including E. coli and influenza virus.
Pineapple
Contains a naturally occurring form of mannose, providing the anti-adhesive benefits of mannose along with the anti-inflammatory benefits of bromelain found in pineapple. Pineapple is also a Beneficial for Blood Type AB.
While it can't magically turn avoid foods into beneficial foods in Blood Type AB individuals, Deflect® AB may assist in healthy weight loss and the repair of pre-existing lectin damage. With the help of our formula, you can support a balanced digestive system.
Dosage and Information
- 120 Capsules.
- For maximum benefit: Take two (2) capsules two to three times daily with meals as a dietary supplement or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
